Acupuntural meditation
When i started out meditation several years ago, i found it trough acupuncture. In the begining it wasnt anything overdone, just a couple of needles in my ears. I sit in total darkness, feeling my body slowly drifting away, being in a state of inbetween sleep and awakeness, exploring my mind, creating different shapes and colors. Now, that was some time ago and of course and i have long since then stopped attending to acupuncture. I would just like to tell people that its a great way to get started and help you understand how to set your mind to the calming mode you need. So, lets discuss some acupunctural meditation and experiences trough it.

Re: Acupuntural meditation
I've actually never heard of this. I'm very interested in trying, is it something that should be done with professional supervision or could I take sewing needles from my house and use them?

This is something that needs professional advising. There is clinics all around the world, use google to find one located near you. The point behind it is putting needles onto certain nerves to calm your mind, take away certain pain or even help you quit smoking. The needles are very naturally made so if a tip would end up breaking in your skin, it flows trough your body and gets disposed the natural way. I would advise you to not try it at home and especilly not with sewing needles.
