Hey what are your thoughts on Alchemy? I think it's fucking interesting, that these men were those who kept hermeticism and ancient Mystical wisdom through the middle Ages. That they corresponded outer physical experiments with inner dynamics.

It's a bit interesting, I have a few folders of stuff to read still about alchemy, but the funniest thing about it is that modern day chemistry seems to be a bit like old fashioned alchemy.

The best explanation I have about Alchemy:

The process of bringing from thought, transformations which shape your reality around you.

In tune with your nature, manifesting a road, which suits your stature.

The act of turning ignorance into enlightenment.

The act of turning enlightenment into ignorance.

Bringing forth which you consider your identity.

I find it very interesting that the alchemists had the very primitive elemental chart. Alltough it did only contain the four elements Fire, Earth, Air and Water and that they were smart enough to understand that things were a combination of some amount of the elements. Nothing less from the Aristoelians. Alltough I dont think that Aristoteles really had any major influence on the idea.

Alchemy, the search for the Inner Gold Empty Re: Alchemy, the search for the Inner Gold

I think alchemy is about twisting spiritual and physical to what you want it to be. As you will it.

So after attaining "gold" tier body(let's call it that) you can improve your health as you will it. kinda of like placebo effect but your trolling yourself.

Example: You get the flu, and you meditate for thirty minutes inwards. As opposed to APing where you meditate outwards. You meditate in a mirco level to find the source of this problem and curing it through methods of energy work. Focusing and exchanging energy outwards. Now when you've gotten used to Gold tier body you won't feel sick anymore, even a simple cough is hard. Your "pure gold".

Now in relationship to choosing your destiny. I think people should know; There already masters of there own path, now what happens is when you achieve a certain level of alchemy you'll understand how much your worth and your true potentials, thus making it easier to bend the energies to work for you. Manipulating synchronicity to a unconscious level.

Example: you wanna be a detective. You've achieved a high level of energy work and consciousnesses. Your a being with empathy to others. Now instead of the world trying to make you find your path, YOU'LL MAKE the world help you achieve your path. It won't try to help it will actually help. Why? Because you'll be in tuned with this universal language. in one year time(if you continue willing it) the chances will show and you'll be impressed how these things just show up.

A good book by a Brazilian writer is "the alchemist" it's really famous and has a good lesson in universal language.
"When you really want something the entire universe conspires to help you "

Destiny, isn't path. For example.Your destined to meet your best friend, Your destined to have a daughter(not depending on the woman), your destined in finding a book on a book store that'll change your life,etc...

Paths are as follow: You can cheat on your best friends girl friend, you can have a divorce with the girls mother or not even marry the girls mother, You find the book life changing but you don't change your way of thinking even after reading,etc...

So destiny exists as a life changing event. But what happens next is a multitude of paths. for good or for worse we choose. We have free will. Alchemy will help you have an insight of which would be a better path, as you'll be connected to the future of these paths you'll have a more natural instinct to act on which is best for you.

Alchemy will help you not cheat your friend but instead find him the girl of his dreams, you'll find the right woman for you that can raise the girl and still make an awesome wife, after reading the book you trail your path to a more balanced person helping you achieve Platinum tier alchemy or something.
There just examples Razz

that's my perspective y'all ;D

That's really interesting. This reminds me of how I've come to view magic(k?) lately, as about control of the self to control the world. But if alchemy is about tricking yourself, would knowing that it's just a trick yourself get in the way? It's like trying to use the placebo effect to better yourself by taking a pill you know does nothing.

As a side note, some alchemists during the middle ages were basically traveling scammers, they used little tricks like pots with hidden gold in them or whatever to convince the nobility that they could physically transmute lead to gold in a cost-effective way, got paid for it somehow, and then left before they got killed (sauce: Canterbury tales).
It's funny how things change.
